In august 2024 I was experimenting with GPSDO's for some time, and I thought, I can do better than many other designs.

I read about everything on the internet what I could get my hands on. My base was all the info of Lars Walenius and successors (i.e. PaulV).

In this doc I will keep a record of my activities after doing about all experiments with earlier builds.

So , if you want to build a GPSDO that is as best as I can get, than read first all the doc about Lars and Paul, and then come back to this site. Reason is that I use a lot of terms which are not explained always very well here, but my starting point is that all is read and understood.

 

The idea is that I discuss the build of the different modules of a GSPDO, with starting to discuss the results of all my experiments.

So, let's start with the most important module,...the VCO.
