OK, in my previous chapter I wrote a plan, but plans are changing after more knowledge,.....

I decided to skip proto 2 and build proto 3 as second proto. So, that means:

- A beefy power supply that can produce about 1500Watts, so 600-800 Watts of HF power should not be of any problem.

  In my first proto, I learned that a good power supply is of very much importance. So I spend a chapter on the power supply !

- A good thought for a good amplifier. Take the time to look at nice projects on the net, and make choices on quality and good

  performance and not on speed. I will also spend a chapter on the PA.

- The filter, it should be a filter capable of doing all the HF frequencies,....so a new chapter is needed to discuss that one.

- Security measures,...I want to measure the V, A and T of the Power supply, because this is the most crucial part of the project.

  I also want to measure the input power, output power, reflected power, current in the drains, temperature of the cooling block, 

  etc. So, I spend a chapter on the security measures

- Control unit. I need a method of controlling the unit. Putting it on and of, switching power level, switching band, handling security 

  issues, etc. Another chapter is born,....

 

So, lets hit the first problem, a good power supply,...
